It's been a few weeks since I caught the Phantom Shakers performing at Texas Beer in Taylor, TX. The past couple of weeks have been spent moving and life is just now getting back to some degree of normality. On top of that, I'm transitioning to a MacBook Pro from my iMac and as a result my blog has been neglected. I'm getting things sorted out though and should be back posting regularly soon.
Enough about me. How about this band! The Phantom Shakers are an awesome Rockabilly group in Austin and it's always a treat to see them. It was especially nice to catch them at my favorite watering hole in nearby Taylor. The band filled the small craft beer bar with their scorching sound. I grabbed a few snaps with my trusty Fujifilm X100F. While I tend to shoot JPEG a lot with that camera I have to say that raw capture is quite handy for live music. These were edited with Lightroom CC - you know, the stripped down cloud version. More on that to come.
All photos were captured with the Fujifilm X100F using the wide and tele conversion lenses. If you like these shots, check out more from the show on my gallery site.
