It's so good to have my Fuji X100 back. It was at Fuji for a sticking aperture and they got it back to me good as new. I love the dynamic range and low noise of this camera! My friend Tony and I met up in Austin's warehouse district one evening recently for some nighttime street photography. This is a long exposure from a tripod in one of my favorite areas of downtown Austin. Processing Info: - Raw conversion in Photoshop using a couple of Smart Objects and a mask for a bit of localized exposure adjustment. - Nik Color Efex Tonal Contrast blended in very lightly. - Topaz Labs Detail Feature Enhancement for a bit of pop. - Curves for contrast in Photoshop. My friend Tony spotted this empty bar and kitchen while we were on a photowalk together. I had to get a shot of this myself. The lighting is just too awesome. This is through the front window of Hoffbrau Steaks in Austin. The image was captured with the Fujifilm X100 in the raw format and converted with minimal adjustments in Lightroom. I was on my way home from work one gloomy afternoon and noticed this discarded couch by the road side. It always amazes me how people think it's OK to dump something like this on the side of the road. It was interesting to me how it was framed by these trees so I had to stop and get a shot. Processing Info: - Raw conversion in Lightroom. - Single HDR image created with Nik HDR Efex and blended with original exposure. - Curves in Photoshop. - Light luminosity blending of Silver Efex layer (Holga preset) to burn outer edges and dodge center a bit.
