I took a short walk around Taylor, TX one hot afternoon a while back with my friend Steve. There are some great old buildings there, a wonderful location to test my latest acquisition, a Mamiya M645. I'm a sucker for windows and doors and often stop to get shots of them. This was taken with a 80mm lens, yellow filter and Fujifilm Acros 100. Scanned negative was adjusted for contrast in Lightroom. This faded facade caught my attention. What paint remained from years of bleaching by the harsh Texas sun was like a fading memory.
