A scene through the kitchen window of a late night pizza joint on the Drag in Austin. Taken with the Fujifilm X-E1 with XF 35mm f/1.4 lens. B&W with red filter simulation, JPEG from camera was processed midly for contrast and clarity in Lightroom. I'm not much for doing street photography. However, I couldn't pass up this shot as I walked back to my car after catching my friends in Red Dirt Rebellion perform that night. This guy was focused on writing in his notebook and didn't even glance as I strolled by. He looked rather thoughtful. I assumed he was studying and didn't want to disturb him. I took this shot at the Hole in the Wall in Austin recently while I was there to see my friends performing with Red Dirt Rebellion. It was the dimly lit hallway with the broken glass in the message board box that first caught my eye. It was an even better shot when one of the bartenders came down the hallway with her register tray. The slowish focusing X-E1 probably wouldn't have caught this had I not already acquired focus on the box. Taken with the Fujifilm X-E1 with XF 35mm f/1.4 lens.
