I took this shot over the summer while wandering around the little town of of Liberty Hill, TX with my friend, Andy. This town doesn't really catch much attention as you drive through on the main highways. Take a road into the heart of town and you'll find some great old buildings and a few small businesses. Shot with a Nikon F2 and 28mm lens on Fujifilm Acros 100. Scanned negative was adjusted in Lightroom. I took a short walk around Taylor, TX one hot afternoon a while back with my friend Steve. There are some great old buildings there, a wonderful location to test my latest acquisition, a Mamiya M645. I came across an old Ford Falcon van. I was familiar with Ford Falcon cars but didn't know there was a van model. The afternoon sun created a high contrast subject and I decided on this closeup composition. This image was taken with a 80mm lens and Fujifilm Acros 100. Scanned negative was adjusted for contrast in Lightroom. Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Google Plus Comments and constructive criticism are welcome and appreciated.
