Every year over the weekend before Veterans Day weekend I try to stop by Camp Mabry in Austin, TX for the Close Assault WWII reenactment put on by the Texas Military Forces Museum. This is a historical event with actors recreating a WWII battle. These actors are dedicated to the presentation of accurate living history. They spend considerable time and money to stage these events. Some of the images in this series will contain imagery that may be disturbing to some people. Please understand that any Nazi or other objectionable symbols are present for the purposes of historically accurate recreations of events of WWII. Taken with a Canon AE-1 with Kodak Tri-X. Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Google Plus I welcome comments and I will be happy to reciprocate by checking out and commenting on your photostream. Group invites are welcome, but I do not participate in Post / Award groups. I reserve the right to delete gaudy, glittery, flashing group invite icons!
