I attended a meetup of large format photographers in downtown Austin recently. While I don't own any large format cameras myself, I am intrigued by them so I tagged along with my medium format Yashica-Mat. We met on the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge to shoot the cityscape in the late afternoon. This composition caught my eye while as I wandered around looking for a good vantage point. Film is Fujifilm Acros 100. A yellow filter was used. Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Google Plus I welcome comments and I will be happy to reciprocate by checking out and commenting on your photostream. Group invites are welcome, but I do not participate in Post / Award groups. I reserve the right to delete gaudy, glittery, flashing group invite icons!

There were actually quite a few folks enjoying the water and I was fortunate enough to have a moment where this couple was isolated. Film is Fujifilm Acros 100. A yellow filter was used. This Independence Day I had a chance to attend one of the displays in Austin with my photographer friends Andy, Steven, and Yang. The show was put on by the Austin Country Club on the lake near the Pennybacker Bridge. We took pictures from the bridge and this was the view from behind where we were standing. I took this after the fireworks show. Shot was taken with my Fujifilm X-E1 with the 14mm lens. B&W conversion from raw file in Lightroom.
