I took this shot while roaming around east Austin recently. While I'm usually looking more for unusual things, it was the plain simplicity of this building that made me stop. There is a certain loneliness and sense of abandonment to it. I took a few photos on the Austin Cap Metro Rail coming home from a photo walk in downtown Austin one evening. This musician was on his way home from a gig. In spite of it being in the heart of Texas, you don't see a lot of cowboy hats in the city, particularly in the 6th St. area. The triptych is something new for me. I like the result and may have to do more of these in the future.
