The Texas Stars took on the Rockford IceHogs last night at Cedar Park Center. After winning 3 out of 4 games on the road the past week, fans at home had high hopes of a win back on home ice. Unfortunately that wasn't in the cards as the Stars fell to the IceHogs in overtime with a 6-5 final score. The first shot is an incoming puck on the Stars net in the first period that Jack Campbell would deflect away. The second shot is Gemel Smith kicking up some ice chasing down an attacker in the Stars' zone. The final shot is a rarity - a goalie with no helmet during game play! Campbell's lid got knocked off by an IceHog stick and play continued for several seconds before this dangerous situation was noticed by the on-ice officials.
